Respectful, Respected, Respectable and Respective

##Respected describes something or someone to whom respect is shown. (whether or not he is a respectable person)

##Respectable is used to describe someone of merit or importance. (but says nothing about whether anyone actually respects him or not)/ Regarded by society to be good, proper, or correct.

Respectable is also used when something is adequate or acceptable in number, size, or amount.
