1). Tenacity (noun)

Meaning: The quality or fact of being able to grip something firmly; grip./ लगातार मज़बूती के साथ चलते रहने का गुण 

Synonyms: persistence, pertinacity, determination, perseverance, doggedness

Usage: The tenacity with which he stuck to his story.

2). Apostate (noun)

Meaning: A person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle./ किसी धार्मिक या राजनैतिक मान्यता को त्यागने वाला 

Synonyms: dissenter, heretic, nonconformist; defector, deserter

Usage: After 50 years as an apostate, he returned to the faith.

3). Discomfit (verb)

Meaning: Make (someone) feel uneasy

or embarrassed./ किसी को असहज या शर्मसार करना 

Synonyms: embarrass, make uncomfortable, make uneasy, abash

Usage: He was not noticeably discomfited by her tone.

4). Laconic (adjective)

Meaning: (of a person, speech, or style of writing) using very few words./ संक्षिप्त

Synonyms: brief, concise, terse, succinct, short, economical, elliptical

Usage: His laconic reply suggested a lack of interest in the topic.

5). Ossify (verb)

Meaning: Turn into bone or bony tissue./ 

सख्त या हड्डी की तरह बनाना 

Synonyms: turn into bone, become bony, harden, solidify, stiffen

Usage: These cartilages may ossify.

6). Accretion (noun)

Meaning: growth or increase by the gradual accumulation of additional layers or matter./ इकठ्ठा होना या करना 

Synonyms: Accumulation, collecting, gathering, amassing, cumulation.

Usage: The accretion of sediments in coastal mangroves.

7). Acumen (noun)

Meaning: the ability to make good judgements and take quick decisions./ जल्दी अच्छे निर्णय लेने की क्षमता 

Synonyms: Astuteness, awareness, acuity, sharpness.

Usage: A gullible young man with little or no business acumen.

8). Ephemeral (adjective) Meaning: lasting for a very short time./ जो कुछ समय चले 

Synonyms: Transitory, transient, fleeting, passing. 

Usage: Fashions are ephemeral: new ones regularly drive out the old.

9). Garrulous (adjective)

Meaning: excessively talkative, especially on trivial matters./ बातूनी  

Synonyms: Talkative, voluble, chatty.

Usage: A garrulous old man who chattered like a magpie.

10). Fetter (noun)

Meaning: a chain or manacle used to restrain a prisoner, typically placed around the ankles./ एक प्रकार की ज़ंजीर 

Synonyms: shackles, manacles, handcuffs, irons, leg irons, chains.

Usage: He lay bound with fetters of iron.

Note- Though the aforementioned words in a particular category are synonymous, there are subtle differences between the contexts and usages of any two words mentioned in the same category. Consult a good dictionary to know them!
