Synonymous words:

1.Discomfit (verb)

Meaning: Make (someone) feel uneasy

or embarrassed.

Usage: He was not noticeably discomfited by her tone.

2.Laconic (adjective)

Meaning: (of a person, speech, or style of writing) using very few words.

3.Ossify (verb)

Meaning: Turn into bone or bony tissue.
