🎲Section-1

Synonymous words:

1.Delineate (अपने शब्दों में बताना)

Meaning: describe, set forth, set out, present, outline, depict, portray, represent

Definition: describe or portray (something) precisely..

Usage: The law should delineate and prohibit

behaviour which is socially abhorrent

2.Enervate (थकना/ कमज़ोर करना)

Meaning: exhaust, tire, weary, devitalize, drain, sap, weaken, enfeeble

Definition: make (someone) feel drained of energy or

vitality.

Usage: Enervating heat

3.Esoteric (जिसको हर कोई न समझ पाये)

Meaning: abstruse, obscure, arcane, cryptic, Delphic

Definition: intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized 

knowledge or interest

Usage: Esoteric philosophical debates

4.Innate (जो अंदर मौजूद हो)

Meaning: inborn, natural, inbred, inherent, intrinsic,

intuitive, untaught

Definition: inborn; natural.

Usage: Her innate capacity for organization

5.Mortify (शर्मसार करना)

Meaning: embarrass, shame, abash, appal, crush

Definition: cause (someone) to feel very 

embarrassed or ashamed.

Usage: She was mortified to see her wrinkles in 

the mirror

6.Vicissitude (परिस्थितियों का बदलना)

Meaning: Change, alteration, transformation, shift,

switch, turn

Definition: a change of circumstances or fortune, typically one that is unwelcome or unpleasant. 

Usage: Her husband's sharp vicissitudes of fortune..

Note- Though the words are synonymous, their meanings and usages may be different. Please, consult a good dictionary to know them!

3.Perambulator- छोटे बच्चे को कैरी करने वाली गाड़ी जिसको पुश करते हैं 

4.Sanatorium- एक विशेष प्रकार का अस्पताल जहाँ लोग रहकर किसी लम्बी चलने वाली बीमारी का इलाज कराते हैं 

5.Preamble- किसी लेख का इंट्रोडक्शन/ जो पहले घटित हो 

6.Omnibus- ऐसी किताब जिसमें किसी लेखक की कई रचनाएं एक साथ हों
