🎲Section-1

Synonymous words:

2Inculpate, incriminate, accuse- आरोप लगाना 

3Cede, concede, yield- घुटने टेकना 

4Rejoinder, reposte, retort- पलटकर जवाब देना 

5Solicit, implore, beseech, plead- गुहार करना 

6Paucity, dearth, scarcity, scantiness- कमी 

7Nonplus, confound, befuddle- चौंका देना 

8Aggregate, cumulate, heap up- इकठ्ठा 

Note- Though the words are synonymous, their meanings and usages may be different. Please, consult a good dictionary to know them!

One word substitution 

1.Idolator- One who worships idols/ मूर्तिपूजक 

2.Juggler- One who exhibits trick that requires the skill of hand or eyes/ जो हाथ के कार्यों में निपुण हो 

3.Impostor- A person who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others/ फायदा पाने या किसी अन्य उद्देश्य के लिए अपना झूठा नाम एवं अन्य डिटेल्स बदलने वाला 

4.Gerontology- the scientific study of old age/ ओल्ड एज का अध्ययन 

5.Fumigate- disinfect or purify (an area) with the fumes of certain chemicals/ शुद्धिकरण करना 

6.Notary- a person authorized to perform certain legal formalities (especially to draw up or certify contracts, deeds, and other documents for use in other jurisdictions)/ लेख प्रमाणक 

7.Neogamist- A person recently married; newlywed/ जिसकी नई शादी हुयी हो 

8.Quack- A doctor who dishonestly pretends to have medical skills or 

knowledge/ झोलाछाप 

9.Quixotic- Extremely idealistic; unrealistic and impractical/ अवास्तविक/ अव्यवहारिक
