Usage: The trial resulted in an acquittal.

Meaning: Basic, elementary, introductory, early, primary, initial, first

Definition: involving or limited to basic principles.

Usage: He received a rudimentary education.

3.Specious

Meaning: misleading, deceptive, false, unsound

Definition: superficially plausible, but actually wrong.

Usage: A specious argument

Definition: too great or awful to describe.
