Synonymous words:

1.Refractory (adjective)

Meaning: stubborn or unmanageable/ ज़िद्दी 

Synonyms: obstinate, mulish, bull-headed, intractable

Usage: The refractory students spend a great deal of time in the detention room.

2.Pique (noun)

Meaning: A feeling of irritation or resentment resulting from a slight, especially to one's pride/ चिड़चिड़ापन होना 

Synonyms: irritation, annoyance, resentment, anger, displeasure

Usage: He left in a fit of pique.

3.Turgid (adjective)

Meaning: Swollen and distended or congested/ सूजा हुआ या अवरुद्ध होना

Meaning: The quality or fact of being able to

Usage: The tenacity with which he stuck to his story.
