### Preliminary Exam (Stage 1)

This stage consists of objective multiple-choice questions. There is a penalty of 1/3rd mark for every wrong answer.

This stage consists of descriptive written papers. Every paper has a duration of 3 hours. Unlike UPSC, there are no optional subjects, and all papers count toward your final score.
